The Dynes Development Academy is for those under 25, with a full Class 1 Licence, interested in becoming a truck driver and gaining practical skills and experience in the transport industry. Are you looking to get out there doing it instead of being stuck in a classroom? Do you have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn? Then the Dynes Cadet Academy could be for you. Current legislation requires a full class 1 driver’s licence holder to be a minimum of 18 years of age before sitting their class 2L licence, however, we do consider applicants who are under 18 who we can prepare for the practical test on reaching 18 years.

At Dynes we value practical hard work, being accountable, straight up and whanāu oriented. With the right skill set, it usually takes a minimum of 30 months to become a competent Class 5 Driver.
